Sekondi-Takoradi-Kojokrom railway line nears completion

Work is nearing completion on the Takoradi to Secondi via Kojokrom suburban rail line in the Western region of Ghana.The project involves the construction of three modern train stations at Sekondi,Takoradi and Kojokrom as well as four halts 30 km of suburban rail lines are also nearing completion.

It is true that 8 year administration of the NPP did not see an in of railway line being built.  The John Mahama-led NDC administration is committed to building more railway lines to promote the movement of goods and people across the country. The president in his 2016 manifesto for the second term promised to revamp the rail system in the country. The Accra-Tema-Aksombo railway line is one of the key ones to be considered in the president's second term of office.
