Prez. Mahama commissions last project

President John Dramani Mahama has commissioned the University of Ghana Medical Center few days before the end of his tenure. At a brief ceremony attended by government officials and people from the university, the president expressed satisfaction at the quality of the project and called for a good maintenance plan for the facility.


The medical facility is a 620-bed teachings hospital that will provide the needed relief for medical students of the university who for decades had to travel to the Korle Bu Teachings Hospital for practical lessons. 



The Health sector received saw much transformation under the leadership of President John Mahama. The Greater Accra Regional hospital,  Upper East and Upper West Regional Hospitals, The Shai Osu-Doku District Hospital and many others were started and completed in the last four years under the leadership of president Mahama.
