President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday, 15th August, 2016, began his
campaign for re-election in the Western Region. The 4-day campaign which
forms the first leg of the tour of the region will take the President to
Mpohor, Ahanta, Dixcove and Essikadu among other traditional areas to
pay courtesy calls and interact with the Chiefs and people of the
various areas.
There will be whistle stops at Abura
and Agona Nkwanta. President John Mahama will also take the opportunity
to inspect the numerous ongoing developmental projects in the region
including Bosomtwi Sam Fishing Harbour Project, Sea Defence Projects at
Aboadze and Abuesi.
His Excellency John
Dramani Mahama will also grace the National Fisheries Grand Durbar in
Axim.
