President John Dramani Mahama joined the people of Bukom to
inaugurate the Trust Sports Emporium also known as Bukom Sports Complex on the evening of Tuesday November 15th 2016.
The complex has several sporting facilities to help develop new talents
as far as sports is concerned.The boxing arena is a 4,000 capacity multi-purpose facility that can be used for basketball and other events.
The multi-purpose sports complex
in Accra has an olympic-size swimming pool, boxing arena, gymnassium,
basketball, lawn tennis courts, basketball courts and many others. It is
also expected to create jobs for the youth in Bukom and help reduce
deviant behaviours among the youth. Other facilities in the sports complex are expected to be completed by the second quarter of next year, 2017.
