The John Dramani Mahama-led National Democratic Congress's government continues to invest in the  housing sector especially in the major cities of the country where population continues to increase. Saglemi is in the greater accra region of Ghana and is providing the nation with a 5000 housing unit for the masses. Similar housing projects in the region including the Sakumono housing project, Borteyman housing project, Police housing project, Security agencies housing project in Tema, Nyamedua Estates in Kpone, Tema community 1 housing project, Labadi Villa housing projects, Adenta regeneration project among others.

Borteyman Housing Project

President Mahama continues to invest in public housing. Apart from initiating and completing several major housing projects, he has completed those started and abandoned by other governments. Below are pictures ‪of the Borteyman housing projects near Tema. Make sure you tell others about it.

Elmina fish processing plant takes shape

Elmina is a town and the capital of the Komenda/Edina/Eguafo/Abirem District on the south coast of South Ghana in the Central Region, situated on a south-facing bay on the Atlantic Ocean coast of Ghana, 12 km (7.5 mi) west of Cape Coast. Elmina is the first European settlement in West Africa and it has a population of over 36,000 people.

As part of the fair distribution of the national cake promise by the president, the people of Elmina, one of the oldest fishing communities in Ghana are receiving a fish processing plant to help reduce the losses as a result of a lack of a processing plant in the past. This plant will create thousands of direct and indirect jobs for the people in and outside Elmina. It is expected to be commissioned in October this year. Similar fish processing plants are ongoing in other coastal communities of the country and are expected to be finished soon.

Central Region: More community day SHS ready (Pictures)

 As part of the ruling government's promise to make quality education accessible to all, the government is building 200 new community day senior high schools across the country. In the central region, 6 additional schools are ready for commissioning. These new schools have libraries, computer laboratories, science laboratories, art studios as well as other important state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to enhance academic work. Each of the school will provide space for about 1400 students and is expected to be expanded and equipped with boarding facilities in the future.
